Staff Appreciation Lunch ~ Potato Bar on Wed, February 8
Due to the January storms, we had to postpone our 7th grade sponsored lunch until February! For this lunch, we will be having a Potato Bar and will be needing "fixings" donated. We are also looking for a few salads, desserts and drinks. If you are interested in bringing in items for this lunch, please sign up using the Staff Appreciation Lunch - Potato Bar form.

All items need to be dropped off by 9am on February 8th. You can drop off early if needed, just mark your items "Staff Appreciation Lunch". Also, Kelly Olsen is willing to collect items from Monroe and drop off the day of the staff lunch. Please contact her at 360-805-1348 if you need delivery help.

All School Social ~ Friday, February 10 after school
We are thrilled to have a new parent on board to help with the planning of this next social!! A student permission slip which needs to be turned in by Thursday, February 9th. The cost of the social is $5 with ASB card and $6 without ASB. Students bring their money on the day of the event and pre-purchase their wristbands at lunch. Cash or checks made to HRMS PTO are acceptable.

We will need chaperones to sign up for this event. Please let us know if you would be available for the following time slots: Whole event including set-up and take-down (1:30 - 4:30), Set-up and event (1:30 - 4:00), Event and take-down (2:15 - 4:30). We need about 12-15 chaperones. We would also love to have donations of snacks for this event. We are looking for store bought cookies and/or Valentine candy (small bite sized servings). Items can be dropped off during the week ~ please label "social". Students must be picked up at 4:00

Become a "Hero of the Hallway!"

We will have a short video and information regarding the program. The calendar will be on display to sign up for a day.

WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) - Engage men, inspire children, reduce bullying and enhance the educational environment at your school. WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) - Is the father involvement initiative of the National Center for Fathering that organizes fathers and father figures in order to provide positive male role models for the students and to enhance school security.

Today, more than 2276 active programs in 41 states participate in the WATCH D.O.G.S. Program. Who are WatchDOGS? Fathers, grandfathers, step-fathers, uncles, and other father figures who volunteer to serve at least one day a year in a variety of school activities as assigned by the school principal or other administrator.

Box Tops and Campbell Soup Labels
Keep clipping your Box Tops and Campbell Soup Labels. This is a very easy way for us to earn extra money that supports the staff and PTO programs. Simply clip and save the Box Tops and Campbell Soup Labels, put them in a baggie and have your student drop them off at the office. Please ask family and friends who are not collecting for their own schools to collect for you! We earn a few hundred dollars each year with just these two programs and it is so simple!! We could easily double our money if everyone collected Box Tops and Campbell Soup Labels.
